Amanda Malloy from North Carolina loves The Little Frog book series. She loves it so much she started a Bible study with her friends based around The Little Frog. You see, she was born with one of her legs being an inch shorter than another. She wears special shoes, but she has often asked, "Why?" Through Little Frog she knows and believes God has a plan for her life, and He will use her differences to make a difference!

Believe it or not, The Little Frog even touched the life of a 15 year old. There is a girl who had gone to a Christian school her whole life, but financially her family couldn't afford to send her there any longer. So she had to start going to her local high school. She had lived a sheltered life, and the public school was much bigger. There were a set of twins who really took a liking to her, and the 3 became instant friends. About a month before starting her new school her dad had brought home The Little Frog to read to her younger brother. Well, she listened along. Not knowing it was going to prepare her for what was ahead. She noticed that one of the twins walked different. It never bothered her, but over time she realized others would look at her or make fun of her. To find out, the twins were conjoined at the hips when they were born and had to have surgery to separate them. She wrote me a letter, and shared how hearing The Little Frog, and how he felt and how he seeked God to understand the answers; that helped prepare this 15 year old girl to understand how the twins felt, and it prepared her to point them to God of which she had been equipped through her parents relationship with God, church and going to a Christian school through 8th grade. The Little Frog was excited to be an example and help this 15 year old girl.

There is a family in the Pittsburgh area who have 4 children. The mom's name is Carrie and one of her daughter's name is Tate. Tate had been having a difficult time being kind to her siblings. She would yell, demand, and fight with her brother and 2 sisters. Her mother read her The Little Frog Learns the Golden Rule, and Tate's mom saw how she was really taking the story in. They talked about mean people, and how they can make other's feel, and her mom came up to me at church a few weeks after she read the story to Tate, and said "I want you to know that your book has changed my daughter. She really felt bad for Little Frog, and realized she was like those mean frogs and she didn't want to make people feel the way Little Frog felt." What a praise.

Ellie McCoulough from Pennsylvania had read The Little Frog Learns the Golden Rule. She is a 3rd grade student who rides the bus to and from school. Her mother read her The Little Frog Learns the Golden Rule not realizing what Ellie was ready to endure. A few weeks later, Ellie has a situation on the bus with two mean girls. She gets off the bus, cries to her mom about everything that happened, they all ate dinner then later that night her dad went into her room to talk with her about what happened on the bus. And Ellie looks at her dad and said, "I know what to do dad, I need to be like Little Frog and just be nice to those mean girls." Situation resolved. God blessed Ellie for following the golden rule, and the girls left her alone. Who knows, maybe they became friends. I'll need to ask. Great job Ellie for being a great example.
